The North Carolina Tar Heels have been a near-unanimous choice as the top team entering 2011-12. They returned three players who could have been first-round draft choices last June, added a couple of difference-making players in forward James Michael McAdoo and shooter P.J. Hairston and bundle it all together with a pass-first point guard in Kendall Marshall.
