DT Jarron Jones commits to Notre Dame
Posted Aug 31, 2011
Aquinas senior Jarron Jones said there was a chance he would wait until January to choose a college. Jones, listed as a 6-foot-7 and 300-pound defensive tackle, wanted to make sure he could find a school and team that was a fit for him. He had plenty of options, including just about all of the college football powerhouses. The search apparently ended Monday, as Jones told coaches at the University of Notre Dame that he hopes to go from the Aquinas Little Irish to the Fighting Irish after graduation from high school.
