Renner, Tar Heels make it look routine in rout of James Madison

It’s not that Everett Withers or his players took their impressive opening-day 42-10 thrashing of the Dukes lightly. It’s just that despite the turmoil they’ve all been through over the past 13 months, culminating in the unexpected firing of coach Butch Davis on July 27, the Tar Heels expected nothing less than success once they finally got the chance to get back on the field and play.
