North Carolina's identity crisis
Posted Sep 4, 2011
North Carolina resumed normal football activities Saturday afternoon, beating James Madison 42-10 about 40 days and 40 nights after firing Butch Davis. The beleaguered Tar Heels found a new hero in quarterback Bryn Renner, introduced a new coach in Everett Withers, celebrated the birth of a child in Deizean Cayden Jones and unveiled the new-look Kenan Stadium. Quite a day. Maybe next time, more people will come watch.
