UNC running game aided Renner’s record day

Bryn Renner stole the headlines in North Carolina’s 42-10 win over James Madison Saturday with the most accurate performance by a quarterback in ACC history. But interim coach Everett Withers said Renner was able to complete 22 of 23 passes partly thanks to another Tar Heel who made his long-awaited debut: Giovani Bernard (Durham Herald-Sun)
