Ramsay out, Byrd in again for UNC
Posted Sep 6, 2011
Curtis Byrd will be replacing Devon Ramsay as UNC’s starting fullback for the second straight year. Byrd made six starts in 2010 after Ramsay was ruled permanently ineligible by the NCAA a month into the season. The NCAA reversed its decision in February, but Ramsay tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee in Saturday’s win over James Madison and will undergo season-ending surgery.
