T.J. Yates to have surgery on shoulder
Posted Dec 7, 2007
UNC quarterback T.J. Yates will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Dec. 17 to repair "tissue trauma" within his right shoulder joint. "The timetable for him to get well, they really won't know until they go inside," Davis said. "It could be anywhere from as short as six to seven to eight weeks, to maybe as long as 10 to 12 weeks ... But the expectations are that he'll come back 100 percent and really truly be fine."
