Takeaways not enough for Rutgers in loss to UNC
Posted Sep 10, 2011
As Rutgers and North Carolina traded penalties in front of the Kenan Memorial Stadium student section in the third quarter Saturday, it became clear this game would not come down to which team won it, but who lost it. Five Scarlet Knights takeaways were not enough to overcome seven second half penalties and a nonexistent running game in a 24-22 loss to the Tar Heels.
