UNC scores big recruit in Arizona running back Jamal Womble

North Carolina scored a major national recruiting coup Wednesday when Sierra Vista, Ariz., running back Jamal Womble made an oral commitment to play for the Tar Heels. Womble, whose home is close to the Arizona State campus, chose UNC after narrowing a lengthy list of scholarship offers to the Tar Heels, Sun Devils and South Carolina. (Fayetteville Observer)
