North Carolina fell behind Saturday for the first time this season, then charged back behind quarterback Bryn Renner and tailback Giovani Bernard to defeat Virginia at Kenan Stadium. North Carolina won 28-17 after building leads of 21-3 early in the third quarter and 28-10 late in the quarter. Bernard ran for 102 yards to become the first UNC freshman with a 100-yard rushing game since 2007.
