Baddour: ACC was ready to move quickly on expansion

The ACC has scheduled a conference call for 9:30 Sunday morning to announce the approval of Pittsburgh and Syracuse as the league’s newest members. The official confirmation comes less than a week after the Big East schools formally submitted written applications to join the league, and completes a whirlwind 48 hours that thrusts the ACC into the forefront of the conference realignment picture.
