Grading Week 3 in the ACC
Posted Sep 18, 2011
The Tar Heels need a good bit of work, but even when not real sharp they make enough big plays to give them comfortable margins, which was the case in Saturday's 28-17 home win over Virginia in the South's Oldest Rivalry. Bryn Renner threw a pair of touchdown passes and Gio Bernard ran for more than 100 yards on an afternoon UNC forced its first turnovers of the season. Grade: B.
