Wayne Ellington wins ACC honors

Clemson's K.C. Rivers and North Carolina's Wayne Ellington are co-players of the week in the ACC, while Duke's Kyle Singler is the rookie of the week, the league announced Monday. Ellington averaged 20.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as the top-ranked Tar Heels recorded two non-league wins on the road. He had 23 points and eight rebounds in a 65-55 win over Ohio State and 18 points and three rebounds in Saturday's 86-77 win at Kentucky.
