North Carolina freshman offensive lineman Kiaro Holts had successful surgery Friday at UNC Hospitals to repair a ligament in his left wrist, the school announced. Holts, who was one of the most highly sought players in the Tar Heels' recruiting class, first injured the wrist last year as a senior at Warren Central High in Indiana. He has not played in a game this year, and his status will be updated later.
