Tar Heels shift gears to prepare for Pirates’ air attack

UNC’s defense is in for a drastic shift as it prepares for ECU (1-2), though interim coach Everett Withers said the Tar Heels’ offensive emphasis will remain the same. “You’re trying to keep their offense off the field because they do have big-play potential,” Withers said. “It’s a little bit more of a high-risk, high-reward offense, so we have to sustain drives.”
