UNC’s Withers embraces rivalry with ECU

There are some associated with North Carolina’s athletic program who consider East Carolina more of an afterthought than a rival. Interim football coach Everett Withers is not among them. “I’m not going to sit here and downplay it,” he said during his weekly press conference Monday. “I believe it’s a rivalry, so let’s go play it.” (Wilmington Star News)
