A week of intrigue back in September 1981 ended with a record-breaking performance and one of the most poignant moments in North Carolina football history. Thirty years have passed since that Sept. 12 afternoon in Kenan Stadium when UNC's junior tailback Kelvin Bryant dipped, twirled and dashed his way to 211 yards and six rushing touchdowns against East Carolina.
