They may have lost their head coach, and the NCAA is still breathing down their neck. But despite issues that would have turned many teams into a turmoil-torn wreck, the North Carolina Tar Heels are evolving into a pretty good team. The Tar Heels took another important step in their development Saturday by dispatching with relative ease a very dangerous East Carolina squad on their home field, 35-20. (Fayetteville Observer)
