Theo Pinson to participate in USA Basketball camp

Sophomore Theo Pinson is among 27 members of the 2011-12 USA Basketball men’s developmental national team who will take part in a minicamp Oct. 15-16 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Pinson, who helped the U.S. win gold at the 2011 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, is preparing to play in the 2012 FIBA U17 World Championship from June 29-July 8 in Lithuania. Pinson (6-foot-6, 175 pounds) is rated among the top prospects in the country, and is the only member of the U.S. team from North Carolina.
