Small back making big impact at UNC

Giovani Bernard has made a quick impact in just five games for the Tar Heels. The redshirt freshman is the leading rusher this season for UNC after missing all of last year with a torn ACL. Bernard, who gained 146 yards at East Carolina last week, said he cultivates a low-to-the-ground running style. "I think a lot of the time it's them not being able to see me," said the tailback, whom UNC lists at 5'10".
