North Carolina welcomes Louisville's 'normal' offense
Posted Oct 8, 2011
Louisville will visit Kenan Stadium for a noon game (ESPN2) and North Carolina's last nonconference game this season. Louisville doesn't run a triple-option offense, as Georgia Tech does, or a spread offense, as East Carolina does. The Cardinals just line up and play head-knocking football, and that will be a welcomed return for safety Matt Merletti, who said that the Tar Heels' defense was pulled to the extremes the past two games.
