Tar Heels overcome themselves to scratch out a win

There’s an old saying in golf used to describe a round in which a player doesn’t play his best, but still manages to scratch out a winning score. They don’t ask how … just how many. It’s a philosophy to which the North Carolina football team could certainly relate following Saturday’s less-than-polished 14-7 victory against Louisville.
