Pinecrest OL Bryce Kennedy commits to UNC

Pinecrest High school offensive lineman Bryce Kennedy has seen his recruiting stock rise steadily since last March when he held a lone scholarship offer from Florida International. Nine more schools have since offered Kennedy, but one finally separated itself this weekend. North Carolina received an oral commitment from the 6-foot-4, 285-pound senior Saturday prior to its 14-7 victory against Louisville. Kennedy chose the Tar Heels over offers from FIU, Duke, East Carolina, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Western Kentucky and runner-up N.C. State. (Fayetteville Observer)
