Tar Heels trio likes decision to wait on NBA

Harrison Barnes said when he talks to friends who are in the NBA, the subject of the lockout usually doesn’t come up. “It’s kind of awkward,” Barnes said. “‘Oh hey guys, you aren’t playing this year. You need to come to our games.’” On Thursday, when UNC held its media day, Barnes, forward John Henson and center Tyler Zeller posed for pictures and sat in the Smith Center standers, fielding questions from reporters.
