Bernard, Miller in own Sunshine showdown

Posted Oct 14, 2011
The first time UNC tailback Giovani Bernard noticed Miami running back Lamar Miller, Bernard was in high school, checking out his rating in a South Florida recruiting magazine. Miller was on the front page. "I was like, 'Oh, gosh, look at this guy,' " said Bernard, who hails from Davie, Fla. "So to see him grow as a player has been amazing. And if I can continue to keep doing (well), hopefully I can catch up to him." (Charlotte Observer)
