Bernard, Miller in own Sunshine showdown

The first time UNC tailback Giovani Bernard noticed Miami running back Lamar Miller, Bernard was in high school, checking out his rating in a South Florida recruiting magazine. Miller was on the front page. "I was like, 'Oh, gosh, look at this guy,' " said Bernard, who hails from Davie, Fla. "So to see him grow as a player has been amazing. And if I can continue to keep doing (well), hopefully I can catch up to him."
