UNC dismisses Okakpu for conduct detrimental to team

University of North Carolina linebacker Ebele Okakpu has been dismissed from the program for conduct detrimental to the team, interim head coach Everett Withers announced Monday. Okakpu, a senior from Roswell, Ga., started five games this season and had 14 tackles. He will remain on scholarship and is on track to graduate in the spring.
