T.J. Thorpe shines on dark day for UNC

There weren’t many bright spots for North Carolina in Saturday’s 59-38 loss at No. 8 Clemson.But one positive was the play of Jordan High graduate T.J. Thorpe, who found out last week that he lost his job as the kickoff returner, and then on his first touch of the game returned a third-quarter kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown.
