With safety Tre Boston, North Carolina already has one defender from Southwest Florida manning its secondary, but with the commitment of defensive back Tyreece Jiles and an official visit taken by Malik Simmons recently, UNC could add two more. While baseball season is still a few months away, North Carolina’s 2012 recruiting class was ranked No. 20 by Baseball America. Class of 2012 forward Brice Johnson will make his college choice tomorrow and UNC and N.C. State are two of his three finalists.
