An instant replay: North Carolina 4-8, 3-5
Posted Nov 26, 2007
Saturday's down-to-the-wire, last-play, 20-14 overtime victory over Duke was, perhaps, the most fitting way for North Carolina to wrap up its first season under coach Butch Davis. In all, nine of their games were decided by seven points or less -- including six of their losses. Davis, who got a one-year extension and $291,000 raise last week, is hoping the positive finale can be the first step in a positive future for the Tar Heels.
