Marcus Wall's career remembered fondly
Posted Oct 27, 2011
Marcus Wall earned the nickname, "Super Gnat,'' while playing receiver for the Tar Heels from 1992 to 1995 because of his tenacious style. He still graces the pages of UNC's school record books, ranking second to Hakeem Nicks in single-season touchdown receptions (9 in 1994) and No. 4 in career kickoff returns (2,120 yards, 24.4 average and 2 TDs).
