Heels, Wolfpack share optimism
Posted Nov 26, 2007
North Carolina and N.C. State experienced distinctly different finishes to the 2007 season on Saturday, but both left the field with positive outlooks for the future. The Tar Heels used a 25-yard touchdown run by freshman tailback Greg Little in overtime to close out the year with a dramatic 20-14 triumph over rival Duke. The win left UNC with a 4-8 overall record and a 3-5 ACC finish in Butch Davis’ first year as head coach.
