Path May Be Untraditional, but the Tar Heels’ Goal Is the Same

North Carolina basketball traditionalists apparently have an issue with their Tar Heels. Not the team. The uniforms. Nike has introduced a slightly new look for the team this season, with a hologram on the back of the jerseys. What’s more, the company has also messed with the Tar Heels’ iconic powder blue color. “The jersey’s different shades, the shorts are a different shade of light blue,” junior forward John Henson said.
