Tar Heels nip Devils in OT 20-14
Posted Nov 25, 2007
Greg Little delivered on two promises last night and carried North Carolina to a 20-14 victory against Duke in overtime at Kenan Stadium. Little, a freshman tailback, scampered 25 yards for a touchdown on UNC’s first play in overtime for the winning points. UNC had stopped Duke on its first possession of overtime when Joe Surgan missed a 42-yard field goal by hooking it left. It was Duke’s third missed field goal in three tries.
