Florida CB Malik Simmons commits to UNC


Three-star athlete / defensive back (Lehigh Acres, Fla./Lehigh) is set to play for North Carolina, according to multiple sources. He selected the Tar Heels over scholarship offers from South Florida, Iowa State, Western Kentucky, Boston College, Wake Forest and Florida International. Simmons, a 5-foot-11, 180-pounder, made an official visit to Chapel Hill Oct. 14th. North Carolina has 16 commitments for this recruiting cycle. (ESPN.com)
