Thorp apologizes to Woodson over Withers comments

UNC-Chapel Hill chancellor Holden Thorp has apologized to N.C. State chancellor Randy Woodson over UNC interim football coach Everett Withers' comments on N.C. State's academics. According to UNC spokeswoman Nancy Davis, Thorp called Woodson this morning and left a message. The chancellors spoke this afternoon, and Thorp apologized.
