Renner hurt during Tar Heels' miserable day in Raleigh
Posted Nov 5, 2011
North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner faked to his left and pitched the ball into the open space to his right. Running back Giovani? Bernard needed only one yard on the misdirection toss. Instead, he gained five and became the Tar Heels’ first 1,000-yard rusher since 1997. That was North Carolina’s only positive on Saturday.
