Everett Withers' deal with North Carolina paying $41,667 a month

North Carolina interim football coach Everett Withers is working under a five-month contract that pays him a base salary of $41,667 a month and expires Dec. 31. The agreement, which USA TODAY obtained Monday in response to an open-records request, works out to an annualized pay rate of $500,000 ($208,333 for the five months). (USA Today)
