Hakeem Nicks on the verge of a first for the Heels
Posted Nov 24, 2007
Sophomore wideout Hakeem Nicks enters the [UNC-Duke] contest with 68 catches for 920 yards, well within reach of a pair of school records and the first 1,000-yard receiving season in UNC history. Milestone or not, Nicks is putting together a career that would make any receiver proud. If he continues at his current pace, he will become UNC's all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards late next season.
