UNC cautious with Bryn Renner's status


North Carolina quarterback left the NC State game early with "concussion-like symptoms" this past Saturday, and he hasn't returned to practice yet, according to interim coach . Still, it sounds as if Renner should be cleared and ready to play by the Nov. 17 game at Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels have a bye this week. (ESPN.com)
