UNC cautious with Bryn Renner's status

North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner left the NC State game early with "concussion-like symptoms" this past Saturday, and he hasn't returned to practice yet, according to interim coach Everett Withers. Still, it sounds as if Renner should be cleared and ready to play by the Nov. 17 game at Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels have a bye this week.
