Each preseason, Carolina’s basketball players run the traditional “Carolina Mile,” trying to reach pre-set required times, as well as “tough times” – the marks they use to really challenge themselves. The fastest player on the court was the fastest player around the track this year: shooting guard Dexter Strickland, who finished in 5 minutes, 29 seconds. (ESPN.com)
