For the second time in 48 hours, five North Carolina walk-ons played the last few minutes of a Tar Heels victory. When virtual unknowns Surry Wood, Jack Wooten and J.B. Tanner take the floor, rest assured, the game is well in hand. That was the case once again as the top-ranked Tar Heels breezed through another overmatched opponent, this time a 110-64 victory over South Carolina State on Tuesday night in the Dean Smith Center.
