Louisville ref James Breeding savors officiating game on aircraft carrier

James Breeding thought nothing would top officiating a six-overtime thriller between Syracuse and Connecticut in the 2009 Big East tournament. He was wrong. The University of Louisville graduate and NCAA referee had the privilege of working the Carrier Classic last Friday. Breeding, Michael Reed and Tony Greene were selected for the Veteran’s Day basketball game on an aircraft carrier because they are military veterans.
