UNC football continues to underachieve

As North Carolina prepares for another Thursday nighter at Virginia Tech, the program remains, given its resources and infrastructure, ACC football’s chronic underachiever. Moreover, with NCAA sanctions and another coaching search pending, the Tar Heels may be several years away from the conference contention many believed inevitable when Butch Davis arrived prior to the 2007 season.
