Butch Davis: Kenan needs another 8,000-10,000 seats
Posted Nov 20, 2007
North Carolina coach Butch Davis said Monday he'd like to see Kenan Stadium expand by 8,000-10,000 seats via a combination of general admission, club seating and skyboxes, although he knows it probably won't happen all at once. Kenan currently seats about 60,000, but plans are in the works to make the stadium a complete bowl by filling in the east end zone; and adding luxury boxes, a new academic support center and other amenities.
