Travels provide Tar Heels with chance for bonding

Back home for a week in between games, North Carolina’s men’s basketball players consider their season-opening travels precious for more reasons than picking up a couple of victories. The 2-0 start for the top-ranked Tar Heels is far from unexpected, but they might have reaped other benefits as well. “We bonded a little bit,” forward John Henson said of the trips to the San Diego area and Asheville.
