Top-ranked North Carolina doesn’t have to be totally sharp to play with an edge. The Tar Heels showed that in their home opener, overwhelming Mississippi Valley State 101-75 on Sunday afternoon at the Smith Center. “Obviously, you’d like to shoot the ball better,” coach Roy Williams said.
