Kennedy Meeks' coach comments on Roy Williams visit
Posted Nov 21, 2011
Coaches from Georgetown and Tennessee have been on campus, as have N.C. State coach Mark Gottfried and North Carolina coach Roy Williams, to watch 2013 center Kennedy Meeks in the offseason, Lions coach Baronton Terry said. "Roy came in three weeks ago and we sat and talked," Terry said. "He said he enjoyed watching Kennedy work and he told him that 'I don't usually offer a lot of people scholarships and if you ask my players they'll say I'm usually last to offer, but I think you've got a chance. I'm allowed to be out five or six more times and if anybody sees you more than I do, they're doing something illegal.'"
