While the strength of North Carolina’s roster does most of its damage inside the arc, the Tar Heels said they have focused on improving their production from beyond it. But through three games, that hasn’t yet panned out. The Tar Heels are shooting 28.9 percent from 3-point range. Harrison Barnes, the most dangerous shooter among the Tar Heels’ starters, is 2-for-9 from long range.
