Tar Heels well rested heading into matchup with Tennessee State
Posted Nov 22, 2011
Besides the final score, the most important number for North Carolina in Sunday’s game was 25. Point guard Kendall Marshall’s 25 minutes were the most of any Tar Heel, who started a stretch of four games in seven days with a 101-75 win over Mississippi Valley State at the Smith Center. Top-ranked UNC (3-0) will continue that stretch tonight against Tennessee State (7:30 p.m., ESPN3).
