Heels are tops in field hockey


North Carolina won its fifth NCAA field hockey title Sunday with a 3-0 victory over Penn State at College Park, Md. scored in the first half and and Danielle Forword had goals in the second half for the Tar Heels. UNC finished the year 24-0, the fifth team in Division I history and the second in UNC history to go undefeated. (Raleigh News & Observer)
